Okie let's rewind a day back to Friday.
DY arrived at my place at about 10.30am which means I had to forcefully get up at 10am. I say forcefully because I get up at about 11 or 11.30 XD . why not? It's the holidays and not to mention I go to bed at 3 or 4am :x ..
It was my idea to meet for breakfast anyway C: so we did, after that we headed to her salon ~ It's called "Get Nailed" and its at Liang Court. Unfortunately not the best location for a parlor but you gotta start somewhere right? Starting up is never easy.
I didn't think about it much but I guess it looks sorta Christmas-y, so that's good, I should have given it more thought and picked a design like this D:

She had her hair dyed while I had a manicure.

We spent.. between 3 and 4 hours at the salon because DY had to have to hair re-dyed and styled. Then we finally went to get food. YAAAYYYYY char kway teow ♥ ♥ ♥ best hawker food ever C:
Went to DY's house and shortly after Jun came over and we watched Pulp Fiction, much more hilarious watching it a second time, the first time I was just trying to string the story together. I believe Jun and I were laughing and talking far too loudly for DY to focus on the movie. So she didnt like it ):

It was just nice catching up with Jun XD
Then then then, the mother of coincidences happened.
Jun said he had a friend Cecelia coming over for our overnight mahjong session (gambling session :x) I have only ever known one Cecelia all my life. And I remember her so clearly because her surname is Ang. I was so excited when I met her because I thought I might finally be 2nd on the class register.
But ... Her surname didn't come before her first name like some of my friends, so I was still number 1 that year.
So when Jun said Cecelia was coming over, I had a hunch and I just asked, is her surname Ang? Is her chinese name QX ?
"YES! Omg how do you know! "
XDDDDDDDDD
My old friendddddd . When her cab pulled up I went down to open the door and bring her in, I just stood there hoping she would recognize me and she did !
What a small world.
The rest of the night was filled with primary school memories and also some high school stories and the shuffling of tiles. I had a really great night that night, I was unusually lucky and it was quite scary but as shifu DY says
I should never feel bad and never try to change the flow of the game. (as in she once had a huge winning streak and felt bad for winning all the money so she intentionally didn't show her winning hand and gave up her winning tile and .. it ended badly. Mahjong is highly superstitious anyway. The order where you sit and pick the tiles and arrange them, the fengshui of your seat, the environment and which hand you use to draw a tile, everything matters :o !
TLDR, never mess with the mahjong gods.)
We ended our session at about 7am, DY and I had a sleep til about midday when she got called out by her staff.. so .. I got to sleep til 2pm while she went out to do some errands. Had yummy mee sua and the large Taiwanese fried chicken. Hhhnnngggg soo goooooood ... so unhealthyyyy... I can feel literally feel cholesterol and the cancer going inside me as I chew XD ! #worth
Time for me to head homeeeee, what an experience riding the MRT again, just completely flooded with people the entire hour home.
Then I got home.. and the previous angry post happened,
in my anger and unhappiness I suddenly got a text from Sinyean (he lives 5 mins from me, and he was my colleague in SPH, and he studies in Melbourne so we write to each other sometimes C:) to go out for supper! I immediately said yes.
Dad was like "Where are you going now?"
I screamed "I can go wherever I want whenever I want, why do you care! I know how fussy you get so I planned ahead and came home to be with the family but when I do no one cares!"
He looked quite confused and sorry .
I went back to my room and thought about it and felt very stupid and sad I yelled at him, it's really trivial, it's just dinner, and the act of sitting down at the dining table together and I got so mad. But to be fair he makes a very big deal out of it each day and it's been drilled into me that I have to be there whenever I can.
"I'm sorry I overreacted, I'm going out for dessert and my friend's driving me to Serangoon Gardens. He's my friend from Australia but he's also a friend here and he lives just 3 bus stops away from us."
My god, I'm so weak I can't even be mad for more than 5 minutes.
Dessert was yummm, at a place called Dessert Bowl and it was so crowded and lively! Will definitely go there again.
Alright, I have more to write about but I'm tired of typing, will continue another time~

Friday, January 10, 2014 - [Oath of Allegiance]
My days have been rather busy recently and I've stopped staring at the timer on my blog while I'm home, time seems to be going slightly faster (: and I'm less sad about being away now. Goodyy. Today was a rather important day for me but because my sister had unpacked my bag for me last night, I forgot to take out my wallet which had my security card in it and it caused me to panic when I left home and realized I had to get back in while the intercom was broken and the home phone was also out of order.
Managed to get the big car gate to open after calling dad and panicking XD and one bucket of sweat later I was out and on my way to the Embassy again. Thankfully there wasn't anyone there this time so I could get my papers sorted and proceed to ICA to take the Oath of Allegience, Renunciation and Loyalty.
Dengz and Andrew came to meet me and Clark Quay Central :DD they ordered 4 packets of this Hash Brown pieces at 60cents each along with their breakfast meals :o
SO CHEAP. Hungry Jacks y u no cheap too?
We went to Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA) after and I had to go back home to change because I was not suitably attired. When we came back again the woman-in-charge had changed and she didn't even look at what I was wearing ._.
I was sent to a room with a large Singapore flag and the photo of our Prime Ministers and had to take the Oath there. It was just reciting a few lines to swear loyalty to Singapore, kinda like taking a pledge haha. Easy Peasy. Don't understand why I had to be sent back, the lady witnessing my oath was really sweet.
We went over to Dengyin's house after and I decorated my journal !! :D Pretteh stickersx ! The alphabets keep falling out, so I've had to tape them down now after running out of I's ):
Gave Igo, Dengyin's doggy a pat, it's been so long :D and he's so floppy, he just lets you "re-shape" him and reposition all his parts and lies there like a rug
So sad that he's blind ): Poor little Igo-go
Got to cuddle DY's huge bear ! How on earth did she bring this bear and the giant ducky back from Shanghai ! BEARRRRRRR. I love bears and all sorts of cuddly toys. ehuehuehue.
We played a quick round of Mahjong toooooooo was very exciting because the stakes were high and I'm so rusty but it was very enjoyable even though I kept spacing out and thinking about other things @@" Reached home just before 9pm, phew, stepmum wasn't home to see me so I guess she can't complain to my dad about my frivolous activities . . . . psshhhh frivolous .
Maybe my day doesn't sound as tiring as it actually was here I'll write it abit more clearly.
Home - Serangoon Station (5mins bus + 5mins walk in 400degree heat)
Serangoon Station - Clark Quay Station (25mins train ride)
Clark Quay - Canadian Embassy (7minutes walk)
Canadian Embassy - Central Mall (to meet DY and Andrew) (12minutes walk)
Central Mall - ICA (10minutes drive)
Queueing up and enquiring and getting sent home (30minutes)
Driving home from ICA, changing, applying for passport renewal at home and driving back to ICA (1hour 10minutes)
Queueing up again, taking Oath (20minutes)
Driving to Deng's house (20minutes)
Journey home from the station near DY's home (1hour 2 train rides + walking to meet father at pick up point)
CLIMBING ALL MY STAIRS TO MY ROOM XD

It's 3am !
I finished watching Sword Art Online !!~
I also finished watching Goku's battle with Vegeta yayyy about 30eps into Dragonball Z.
As you know I want to do Lightning Flash Asuna one day, so I googled her Lambent Light sword, and this dude had such a pretty replica. BUT .. he freakin' used a 3D printer to print out the sword cuff and handle. WHAAAAAT !
That's cheating ):
Can't find a good tutorial QQ ..
I should sleep.

Saturday, June 30, 2012 - [from the UK.]
I'm feeling pretty nua and lazy now that I'm home.. so I'm gonna just type this real quick! I had a fabulous night and day so far, my mama just called thinking I missed my flight 'cause I kinda lied to my family that I'd be home on Friday instead of Thursday :x but it's for a good reason okay!
based on past experience I assumed my parents would be really naggy and stuff so I decided to go to Chris's place for Thursday night, though me dy dinnie and him had awesomez dinner at ChompChomp firsttttttt. Then went and just crashed because I was so tired. IDK why, so tired. The next morning woke up and had a terrible stomach cramp and Chris massaged my tummy and back :p so niceeeeee, haha he's so nice I feel so bad. Don't know what I'm doing with my life seriously ): went to play mahjong with dinnie dengyin and a new friend Andrew! wow, he's really quite a joker. shifu won bigbig yesterday!
went for dinner at Hougang Mall, met Glenn and Ivan the two naughty guys who didn't turn up at Chompchomp! D: haha I was pretty tired already... omg wth I'm so old I swear. I can't do young people activity.. haha we were debating between chilling, prawning, bowling and watching a movie but we ended up just chatting and then they sent me home heeee.
Honestly I was very afraid of going home, scared of my dad's nagging and stuff, but it was all so smooth. My darling brother came to help me carry my stuff upstairs and my room is sooooo bare. I don't even have a towel or soap or anything in my room zomg. Sad max. My bed's thrown away too ): Papa says the new house is alot smaller and I will have to throw away alot of things from JalanLateh )):
Had a pretty good night sleep, meimei crawled in in the morning to sleep with me hahaha, and then I just had a pretty good lunch. Dad stepmum, bro, cousin Zaid and new maid Rena. ahhh, so nice talking to everyone, Zaid's here for internship wow! I feel so sad haha, good stuff always happens when I'm not around D: I'm a blitz! @@" But life down under ain't thaaaat bad either I guess. Everyone's talking about their plans to grow up and go away from SG. I wonder what kind of future awaits me. I'm so curious and so scared and so excited all at once!
I always thought the UK was a great place, and I loved Zaid's home and stuff and he's hilarious. I can't even put it in words, but he's great as ever, I saw him 7 years ago and instantly captivated by his person and 7 years later he's still a great person. [: And the best thing is he's like super close with my brother. My brother actually finally gets along with someone sooooo well. They're thick as thieves planning to go on adventures together and stuff haha. I guess this is where I have to stop being to boy-ish, I can't keep up anymore haha. Funny how life works out. I always wanna be with my brother and do stuff together but... he's really got his own plans and stuff. :o
There's always my little sister though. I actually feel very happy at home today. Amazing and I don't feel unhappy that my dad wants me to attend some party and go out tomorrow and stuff. I'M GONNA SIT IN THE NEW BMW WHEEEE.
I think I'm very blessed. really.
Speaking of which my dad was telling us how much he hates when people say he's lucky. He insists he's not lucky because he had to work very hard to get where he is now. Which is true. I think I should rethink my life abit. Yes I'm lucky, I've had a good home, I've lived in comfort but I've been through alot of pain as well. Of course there's luck involved, but it's all hard work. really hard work.

Wednesday, June 27, 2012 - [Feeling the holidays~]
WHEEEE, I'm finally feeling more cheery about the holidays [: although it was really gloomy weather yesterday, I actually had a pretty good night. Nua-ed in the day 'cause it was really cold and I was frikken tired from my day out with taitai, feels like I'm growing old :x haha so easily tired! I used to be like on fireee~ going out every single day, oh gosh what if I can't survive in SG tomorrow! @@" Okay anywayz, went up to fix taitai's HDD and she did my make-up and we went to fetch Jessica from Roma Street Interchange.
So itchy to let someone draw on my face, arghhh and the mascara holyyyy, blinked like nobody's business and my tears smudged it all. rofl. taitai was so mad and gave up applying on my lower lashes.
Hahaha there wasn't a special occasion to dress up, we were just bored! Lemme show you how cute this taitai was.

After a sumptuous dinner and chiling with taitai jessica johnny connie and miss v, we left the cafe and went to MAHJONG!!!! woooo~
Okay although I lost 20cents overall, I enjoyed myself wheeee, I don't play for the money, it's just a bonus, I genuinely like the game alot [: and I managed to pinghu hehehe my nemesis! thanks Johnny for making the sacrifice and cabbing home heeheee, new gossip, Johnny confesses he has a new girlfriend, don't we all wonder who it is? :p But we'll give the man his privacy, he just looked pretty tense at the table when he said "gotta go home to Skype my girlfriend"
So .. that was a lovely night, woke up this morning in the afternoon with blotchy eyes @@" but that's a small matter, I collected 4 parcels from reception and I was "where on earth did le wild parcels appear from?"
but of course I saw two logos and smiled but still the other two?
