Hoihoi everyone :3 I'm in Paris right now but it's taking a long long time to get the photos from today so I'll write about yesterday's trip to the Warner Brothers Studio "The Making of Harry Potter" ~
The photos are not in order because obviously I can't remember which exhibit came first, but I arranged it by indoor sets and props and the outdoor sets and etc..
I've put all the pictures in an album but here are the more significant ones, to me at least C: so click the link below for moooaarrr!
First off the tickets of course, all different in design, one of them is for exchanging to get a digital guide and a souvenir guide so that's 4 tickets + 2 extra. I'm quite amazed they put Fang on the tickets, he isn't a very big character XD
Arrived at the studio and we saw a tour bus, though we didn't actually ride this bus :p we could already hear the tingling soundtrack from Harry Potter, whispering, taunting and pulling us in ~
I was truly giddy with excitement, probably my closest to hyperventilating ehuehuehue :3
There were a couple introduction videos to watch, words from the directors, producers and of course the three main actors.
This really resonated in me because I want to be a writer too C:
The first exhibit, The Cupboard Under the Stairs.
Okay my bad, after this one was the queue to enter the actual studio. So here we are, the set of Hogwarts Entrance.
This is where, as mentioned in the previous post, I screamed at the top of my voice and jumped up and down waving madly when the guide asked "Who here is a Harry Potter fan?" while the rest of the crowd was surprisingly mellow.
So although you can't see, this is a photo from my dad's phone and I'm right in front holding the door handles about to push the doors open into the great hall !
Here it is! My first view of the Great Hall, before the crowd flooded in :3
This is Daniel Radcliffe's first ever robe, when he was a teensy 11 year old !
The not-so-great looking wooden boards behind the Great Hall hehehe, can't imagine how fun it was building the sets!
The Chamber of Secrets door, it's gigantic! Just sit back and think .. how much time it took to draw and design and build each and every prop, every door, painting, teacup, wand, robes and etc etc.
Took a quick Attack Stance class :3
My favourite prop C: Luna's Gryffindor Lion-head!
Hagrid has one actor who does the voice and face who is 6ft2, and has a body double who is 6ft10 and even that double needs a costume and mask. Hagrid's just HOOOOGGGEEE!
The biggest "spoiler" would be how Quidditch was made. It's like sitting in a simulator and all you do is lean to sides, there's fans blowing your hair and clothes around :o
We got to try this, like the picture below, where we could sit and ride the broomstick across Hogwarts and the Quidditch Pitch and around London hehehehee too bad we didn't purchase the DVD.
We did a family one in the Flying Car too :DD
Moving on to the outdoor sets~
How do you even begin to make this gigantic chess set :o and every piece was there! Dat effort..
Onward to DIAGONALLY!
Euwww, Magical Me XDDD
Weasley Wizards' Wheezes!
Couldn't go in though ): pityyyyy
There was a corridor of concept arts, very impressive, hats off to the artists who imagined this stuff and brought it to life!
Dun dun dunnnnn ..
the grandest part of the tour! The Hogwarts model~
This is what they used to film the shots of Hedwig flying across Hogwarts and all the landscape pans and transition scenes :3
5ft3" Hooman for scale + sister :o
THE END :3
There's much much more, honestly if you can afford to, you should all travel to London to see it. That's if you're a fan, otherwise you wouldn't appreciate it :o I guess it really meant a great deal to me that I got to visit the studio. Much more than my family because I keep dreaming of the day I can work on a real film set.
I felt so happy and giddy and the start and towards the end I just felt sad. Sad because I knew the studio tour was ending and sad that I wasn't born earlier or more like wasn't at the right place and the right time to get a chance to work on this set over their decade of production.
IT'S OKAY! Hopefully I can make something great some day!
There's some interesting stuff from the Souvenir shop.
Let's begin with this Undesirable No. 1 poster. It costs 350 pounds, that's about SGD$700 ! WOW! One day, I'll be riicchhhuuu and I'll come here and buy the whole shop D: I hope . C:
There's the classic ugly Ron Christmas Sweater :3333 I would have bought one but it's so scratchy on the inside! ):
Bought a pennant flag thingy to hang :D
Also got the Elder Wand for zackypoo :3 da most powderfoooool stick eva !
A Quibbler Cut-Out because I wuvs Luna Lovegood ~
I also wuvs Neville Longbottom :D
I was gonna get a Snitch or a Quaffle but they looked so kiddy ): at least this toy looks sorta like the real thing.
I also picked up a copy of 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' to prepare myself for the next movie !! YAAAAAAYYYY, this must mean the studio will expand !
OH boy oh boy I hope I wish I pray I dream to work on the set of the Harry Potter Universe ARRRGHGGHGHGHGHHGHGHGH !

hihi (: how's every one today or... tonight ?
Yesterday, true to my word, I went to buy materials for making the Yuuki Artemis Scythe from Vampire Knight, I probs post a very detailed tutorial on how I make it, when I do make it tomorrow and over the weekend. So stay tuned!
Today, I went to play SUPERSMASHBROTHERS! with Zac (Syke) at Carlisle's house :DD with unicorn Steph :3 was just has horribly fun as the first lan we had. Me mashing the forward smash as Marth vs Steph floating around as Peach XDD. Meanwhile Zac and Carlisle can play every character and grab and throw D:
So after about 4hours of that, we played a couple rounds of LoL (League of Legends) and we raped face as a full support team and the Dunk'd team! XDDD legit gold and plat plays wooop :3
Okay so I came home and look what arrived in the mail !!!
SO HUUUUGEEEEEE, I WONDER WHAT IT IS~
Actually everyone in the house already knows what it is because we've all been waiting for it since End of August. Dat shipping speed....
It izzz....
The Yoko Littner Rifle!
Would have been 10x more excited if it actually arrived in time for SupaNova, but noooo... just arrive right after the weekend. Well done. So anyway, I didn't snap any pictures of the real gun yet, because for its whopping $227 AUD from CosplayHouse, it is in horrible condition. The trigger fell off and the magazine isn't a tight fit at all.
I'm going to modify and respray the paint on it after I make my Scythe, because it's alittle too flimsy and weak and I'm afraid if I did receive in time and I did bring it to Nova, it wouldn't have lasted a couple hours. BUT IT'S OKAY, I will heavily modify it to make it presentable and macho!
So... here are some pictures from Supanova :DD some of my favourite shots (:
Stormtroopaaa
