HAPPY 47th BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE :DDD
went to celebrate National Day at UQ
yesterday with the QUT SSA and UQ SSS, there was nasi lemak and murtabak, there was the NDP Goodybags DHL-ed from home to us, there were flags and balloons all around! :DDD There were game stalls too and I won a
PINK Mac Keyboard decal from playing hopscotch hahaha, gosh it's so fun to do such things again! And seriously, Hopscotch is a young man's game, I really felt so breathless after it, can't believe how I used to play it every single day, even several times a day back in the days of 1999 to 2005 and I remember being able to hop to the 6th square at my peak!
So anyway, with the new semester and new resolutions, apart from doing my Accounting homework, and reading my Management textbooks (x_x) from the start of term regularly, I've decided to learn to use make-up because after all I am a girl ): and I've put this off way toooooo long and I should try new things ^-^ This was my first attempt, hahaha.
Second attempt was yesterday when I went out to UQ ! I feel bored already! Because I only have one black eyeliner, I shall go out to buy eyeshadow palettes to 'paint' my eyes hahaha :DD maybe add some glitter and look like a star~ LOL.
I put a tattoo on to show my L♥VE for SG :D
It was abit off though, looks more like a waving flag hahaha @@"
and yes, Miss Patriotic wore Red and White, only to be said to look Indonesian D: ... ahhh.. no offence.

We all watched the livestream of NDP online in an LT, and we even took out the flags to wave and the clappers heheheh!! :DD There was a lucky draw at the end, with the grand prize of an Xbox Kinect, but none of us got it ): oh well.. It was a good evening, I can't wait for next year's to be held at QUT ! ^-^

Hello there, been feeling lazy this weekend, as you might have guessed, don't scold me blogger, yes I know you've been fully loaded with pictures since Saturday Morning.. :x Okay many people have heard this story before but I'm gonna say it again ~ I had a very bad Friday morning.
It started with an 8am lecture at this place, see the exit sigh right ahead? There's a hidden door on the left.
like really, 8am lecture, I see nothing good ahead.. so I was there and there was a group of students waiting for the lecture, 8.20am.. no one came to open the door, a passing student (probably going to the washroom) said "hey! there's a lecture going on in the other theatre next door, maybe it's that one"
So the group of us walked in but it was an "Education" lecture, so nope...
So went back to waiting at the dreaded E-214 lecture room, and some girl sitting at the steps said "I think your lecture is from 9-12 instead, the timetable's been changed."
Fine so I went back home and waited for 40minutes and came back out again, to the ulu E-block and then the same group of people were there and FINALLY we entered the lecture room and the lecturer goes. "Sorry about that, I had a message in the morning about the class relocating from N-block." I'm like whutt???
Then he continues
"So everyone's tutorial will be pushed back an hour because of this lecture"and I stare at him weirdly and he says "Is there a problem?""yeah, of course there is, my tutorial is on Tuesday,not after this lecture.""oh.. then are in the right class?"*getting angry*"Yeah, my timetable said E-214, at 8am, but I heard thelecture was pushed to 9am.""This is Rock n Roll class (legit, there's a creative module calledSex, Drugs and Rock n Roll)""Err.. I'm supposed to be in Narrative Production?""Haha, can't help you there."
so I'm about to explode already... I leave the class and try to connect my lappy to the eduroam network or the QUT network to access Blackboard and see just what the fuck is going on with the timetable. And then ..
THE BLOODY THING WOULDN'T CONNECT!
So fine, I stomped back home and connected to BigAir instead and realized that, both the VENUE and the TIME of class had been shifted and I was like so angry I didn't go to school in the end.
Anyway lecture notes said it was just introduction to the topic today, and it's basically part 2 of the Introduction to Film unit, whatever I'll go next week and I will glare at the teacher for changing the timetable like that, goodness if it was at the City and I had to travel back and forth I would have really stormed in and screamed.
at 11am, I promptly reached the Blue Lotus Cafe, see I would have to leave lecture early anyway because it was originally planned to end at 11 anyway! Dumb school. Yes so, went there and Mr. Francis took me and 3 of his staff to DiBella warehouse, factory and training centre.
DiBella is the best coffee in Australia, with consecutive awards since 2007 (I think), the barista we were trained under is ranked 4th in the world and he has invented several drinks himself. Till Friday I had no idea there were coffee conferences and such. DiBella is the official coffee host on the Masterchef show.

Coffee served at Blue Lotus is of tip-top quality, and costs about AUD$40 a kg, please treasure your drink the next time you go to Blue Lotus. The photo below is a coffee condenser I forgot what it does but it looks like a cool giant hourglass thingy.

Not glossy enough on the rims of the cup but I feel that it was a good attempt, we each made about 12 cups of coffee and did coffee shots and stuff. It's pretty cool [:
After about 1.5hours in the training centre, I went off to met Aaron in the city to go to University of Queensland to explore! :DDD we took a bus there and I met Erica briefly. She looked stressed like she had a lot of work to do.. and then Andy came and took us around the school.

Are you kidding me? JUST ONE?! I think there are 3 stadiums at least in UQ, not forgetting their Aquatic Centre and their Olympic Pool.

Then we took the Citycat back to the city! wheeee, yes the ferry was very windy and it was night time, so the view at the Brisbane River and Southbank was soooooo pretty!!!
Our day does not end there... Andy went back, me and Aaron went for dinner at Funnyfunny, due to strange reasons and after a great deal of useless calling, james, wanting and victoria did not turn up for either the dinner or the movie after. So what the hell, we went anyway. Hotpot dinner for 4 consumed by 2 of us, and Aaron's friends actually came along to celebrate one of the friend's graduation! So we had even more food because they kept offering us more dishes! yumyumyum urghhh.. so full.
had a very interesting talk with Aaron about Hougang boys and their characteristic traits. hahahhaa super funny. Then we headed to Southbank to watch Batman, The Dark Knight Rises. unfortunately the tickets were sold out since morning! So we walked to MyerCentre, oh yes, Sebastian and Royston and Weiyang came along to watch the movie, they're all Andy's housemates. So we did watch the show at Myer, jeeezus $16 ticket. But it was a great show. Except that Bane's voice was super unclear and actually... Batman too.
Andy kindly came to send me home from the city at about 1am. Phewww.. I actually didn't sleep immediately I was still awake 'til 3am then I conked out hahahaaa. and so I missed the BBQ in the morning but I had to fast anyway. So sorry folks for not turning up.
Packed my room instead, look at the lovely shelves now.. but of course, not many know how my room looked like previously :o
Actually it's all thanks to the Ikea set of Black boxes that I can organize everything so neatly. heeheee. and yes tied up all the wires and into a drawer so they won't hang loose anymore.
So I had a bad Friday morning, but the rest of the day was so awesome! The weekend was pretty boring except a lovely dinner at Sunnybank last night with Vicky, Wanjeong, Aaron + Aaron's sister, Anna and Johnny. Vicky confiscated all our phones so that we would be more social and it was hilarious when me and Johnny started talking about games and Aaron joined in and all we talked about was movies and stuff. heehee [: I'm going to sleep early because I have an awesome 3hour Accounting lecture tomorrow morning D:
