Thursday, June 18, 2015 - [how to begin writing a tv series. ]
Okay, so I wanna make a book or a movie or series about this race of people with very subtle powers, and I have written stuff here and there, some pages, some random paragraphs, and alot of dot points that I update whenever I get inspired.
But I've been watching so much How I Met Your Mother recently, yes I'm behind the times, and I'm just wondering how shows like that or F.R.I.E.N.D.S are so simple yet so good. I don't have a huge library of shows I've seen so I don't know about other series like them. ANYWAY, it seems so easy, why can't I do it?
I've thought about it over and over and I'm finally concluded how to start writing a show like that.
It's the characters.
All I need is very strong characters. And then put them in a place, put a normal event, like someone got a job, someone got a date, and then imagine how my characters will respond. Viola!
It's so simple.
But it's not. ._.
