Tuesday, December 31, 2013 - [Ending 2013]
QUICKKK I still have some time I have to write about the last few days of 2013.
My head has been spinning alot thinking about going home and what to do while I'm there with my strict curfews and infinite list of things I'm not allowed to do.
So on the final weekend of 2013, Zac and I went to Eumundi Markets (finally) with his parents. I've bugged him to go there foreverrrrrrrr and we finally went. But before that I must mention that we didn't sleep before going to the markets at 6.30am... +2hour drive and nom-ing and shopping. Came home slept from 3pm to 10pm? Woke up for food and stayed up til .. 9am? and slept the whole day away again to about 8pm and stayed up for many hours that night and went to spontaenously go see the sunrise and failed because the Mount Gravatt Lookout was closed for some reason ... ._. so back to sleep and up again at 7pm today.. hmmm yeah our sleeping pattern has never been odder. Ohwell.
Back to Eumundi then ~ POTAYYYTOEEEEEE !
Had my craving for the seafood Paella satisfied and had the great calamari and mini pancakes too :3 All the same from the first time I went there with SSA. Some of the stalls have changed but I still saw the Chilli store, the same Churros shop and the same antique shop with the typewriter!
Saw a lovely outdoor dining set, very innovative to put a little icebox in the middle of the table.
Very much like the SSA trip, Zacs mom wanted to visit the Ginger Factory and the Nutworks Factory so we went and I just walked around the same places that the SSA group took me on and explored abit further. The Ginger Factory was packed with people, how unusual unlike last time. It was completely empty.
After all the sightseeing we went to the Ettamogah Pub. It was built slanted :o and the exterior walls were all nicely painted :D The dog at the entrance growls :o
Next to the pub is a dead themepark.
it must be SooOOoo ... fun
Since then and now we've acquired a new DVD shelf so we have an empty shelf above the TV to put figurines.. (Feel like I've written this already.. did I?)
Also had the random urge to draw one of the nights I woke up and I drew a really fat Morgiana (from Magi) XD
The amount of flaws in this.. the incorrect hair length, the uneven shading, the abnormally large left hand and inproportionate eyes... Her nose has also disappeared in my drawing D: I want to try drawing in colour.. I don't know how .. use colour pencils to draw? D:
Working on another piece naooooo, I do hate hands.
I have again created an immensely long list of things to do in 2014, probably unrealistic and 60% won't be completed but ohwell it's always exciting to dream about things. Am all packed to go home. Can't say I'm excited, can't say I'm not.. maybe fun things will happen after all

Thursday, December 26, 2013 - [Christmas 2013]
Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day everyone :DDD I hope you all had a wonderful holiday, I sure did. Had an upset tummy the morning of Christmas but it didn't ruin the rest of the day thankfully. The day began with unwrapping prezzies under our tree ^^
I actually just really wanted it for myself so I bought it :p
Fish was very yum, but I think it would have been better with some sort of gravy. BBQ prawns were uber yum, I wish I took more than that, they were all gone ))))): Turkey was yum, I've never had turkey before :o Potato Salad was very very very yum ! I love potato salad.
They got me a very pretty sewing machine box to store threads and needles because I've decided to start learning to sew, probably get a machine when I'm back from SG hurrayyyy ^^ They also gave me a very useful sewing book with very detailed instructions and pictures on how to sew frills and laces and pleats and such. The book had templates inside as well I could take out and cut fabric along! I was so happy I teared. :')
A Fondue set. I'm guessing because I was very excited and wanted to have a Chocolate Fondue at the Christmas lunch. There wasn't one .. BUT NEXT YEAR! I can bring 20 000 strawberries and a pot of chocolate :33
From Zac's parents to Zac, Game of Knowns, it's funny because Zac and I saw Dr. Karl about a fortnight ago at a Carindale for a book-signing session.

This is actually a very useful gift to me because I've been thinking of resuming jogging in the evenings daily and I was thinking really hard about running with my ipod in my hand or how to carry it because it's heavy to carry in the pocket, and now I haz a pouch I can clip to myself! :D

In the afternoon, we headed to Zac's home for a lovely seafood Christmas Lunch ! Besides his family and nana, there was his family friends, Kathy and Steven Mehonoshen and their two daughters Beth + 1 (Will) and Anna came along too (: It was my first time meeting them but I've seen their photos around the house and the Bowmans mention them pretty often every time we go over for family dinners :3 I was excited and also thanks to my social awkwardness, incredibly shy and said almost nothing to them D:
But it's so nice having a sister close to your age (: I can only imagine U___U .. My sister is 14years younger than me, I can't really play with her or talk to her and that's probably the thing I'm most jealous of when I see sisters. Also because my mother is slightly crazy and only talks about STUDY STUDY STUDY and how fat I am and how I should never wear any cosmetics or do anything to my skin or hair or I will destroy my body. So yeah.. she kinda made me a boy plus I had my childhood best friend - my elder brother. Anyway the point is, I'm jealous because I never got to be a girl when I was small or at teenage stage and I had to learn everything myself and it was tough without another female senior to guide me.
Enough rant! The Bowman tree was very packed :3 There are some more gifts in the other rooms and hiding behind the walls, huehuehue !
Santa left his sack behind from last year and the Mehonoshen's wrote on it XD
We had our biggggg lunch outside, Jo made little place cards for us and used candy canes as a stand! Creative ^^
Zac put a container of oysters in front of me and 8gulps later they were gone :x

The birds are really elaborate too, but so fragile ): I'm afraid to put them up on display because because things always fall in our room and we trip over stuff pretty often D: Maybe when we get our own place one day ♥ I'll put them up for show :3
And for Zac, a Rocket mini lego :3
(we saw other nanoblocks when we went Boxing Day shopping :3 the rocket was nowhere to be found tho, excellent choice!) Once I was at Lachlan's house playing DDR or something and Zac was nowhere to be found and then we saw him playing with Lachlan's 15inch Lego rocket model and preparing to take off with a teddy bear sitting inside it XD

Another spot-on present because Zac's controller has crunched 8 batteries within a week and he was just about to get one of the charge kit himself! Second Controller?! Now he's gonna make me play his little car game :o

Everyone received really lovely stuff from each other, it was a very heartwarming experience for me because that's my first Christmas celebration! :D I mean a proper one with family ~

We went out today on Boxing Day and I bought GOOGLY EYES! It was an impulse buy .. I really wanted a nice new rice cooker and steamer and also a large but deep fryingpan or wok but they were all about $200 - $600 because of Jamie's face and name printed on them ._____. thanks. Although I did find a nice ricecooker and steamer and slowcooker combined it was sold out ):
And finally Zac bought a couple of Nerf Guns and a pack of 30bullets, now I can settle any arguments with him in a more classy manner without any bloodshed :3
