Tuesday, November 20, 2012 - [ridiculous morning]
So it's been about 2 weeks since I returned to SG, nothing much to update, because I've spent my time resting, catching up and recently Chris's dad had a light stroke and now discovered brain tumour so things are pretty stressed. Spent my evenings playing with my sister, sticking to my curfew, met mom met old friends and applied for jobs.
So this great morning, this fucking great morning, I was all ready to go to work, I slept just about 5hours and was rudely woken up by my sister banging the piano at 7am but it's okay my alarm was just at 7.15am anyway. So I get up and get ready, and my sister and my maid and my parents have all left for work and to send my sister off to school which is at most 20mins walk away.
I leave home at about 7.45am and then after reaching Serangoon MRT, I realized hah, my maid took the spare Ezlink again. So let's rewind, I came from from Brizzy without a single SG cent and I've been surviving cashless for 11 days, amazing? yeah. And I got a cheque from my dad on Wednesday and I put it in on Thursday or Friday, and today I still haven't go it.
So screw you DBS, be like OCBC and have Sunday banking.
So I'm there at Serangoon, unable to withdraw cash, and I call home, nobody's home, call Dad, he says go home and take money from the safe. I assumed if I waited for about 10mins and Serangoon, my maid would have sent my sister and came home already. BUT NO.
I waited and waited and called home repeatedly. Nothing.
So I walked back home, hurray.. 8.30am, well over an hour since my maid left. I walked home still dialling home and still nobody home. I don't have the access pass to the estate but I have the house key. So I pace back and forth back and forth contemplating climbing over the gate and I ring all the doorbells and finally this elderly lady, with her grandson comes to open the door. THANK GOODNESS.
So my day has started without a beginning. I have went out and came home in two hours and achieved nothing. Did I mention today's my first day at work and I already phoned in to say I can't turn up and of course nobody answered the phone so I dropped an email instead?

ALL I WANTED THIS FUCKING 3MONTH HOLIDAY WAS TO RELAX AND JUST CATCH UP WITH PEOPLE. BUT NO NO NO, GOD IS SUCH A TROLL.
BUT TO BE A GOOD DAUGHTER I DON'T WANT TO ASK MY DAD FOR MONEY SO I'M GOING TO WORK. THAT'S RIGHT WORK AND WORK AND WORK ALL MY TIME AWAY.
SO I WANT TO SEND OUT MY RESUME BUT I HAVE TO ADJUST DETAILS BECAUSE MY CONTACT NUMBER AND SHIT IS ALL AUSTRALIAN, BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE MY STUPID MICROSOFT WORD DOESN'T WORK AND CAN'T OPEN ANY FUCKING DOCUMENT AND KEEPS SAYING ERROR ERROR ERROR LIKE A RETARD.
SO I TRIED TO REINSTALL AND NOW THERE'S ANOTHER FUCKING ERROR.
