This year, 2012, I had the most enjoyable Chinese New Year ever. After many years of eating out at some fast food place with only my mom and brother, I had a home to go to.
Instead of having my angpow money banked in by my mom, I had the joy of collecting them myself. This post shall not be too highly descriptive because it was actually a very emotional occasion and I was upset on the three consecutive days.
I shall not forget how I spent my CNY not with my family but with my possibly future family, the Tans [: It doesn’t matter that me and my stubborn boyfriend arrived late for reunion dinner, because we did eat a lovely steamboat at home and his family did eventually come home and it was a happy household.
I forgive my most silly boyfriend for intentionally annoying me on CNY eve, he got his retribution – golden hair. HAHA, of course that made me stay up the whole night, running around searching for dye and begging Ivan for help, to save his destroyed hair.
It doesn’t matter that the rain ruined our plans to go visiting and we ended up going only to one relative’s place where every single dish contained pork. It also doesn’t matter I got punched in the face with my spectacles poking my eyes and giving me a bruise on my nose and naughty yaoyi smashing my spectacles on the floor. I nearly caught a flu running in the rain with Chris but the day was worth it because he won $476 from Blackjack :p
Although I missed the chance to play mahjong against Chris, his papa and da jie, I did force meow to bao my very first da san yuan, which was like the ‘most-awesome-moment-in-my-mahjong-life’.
Even though Chris blatantly lied to me about being on his way home and I had to managed 4 extremely playful kids trying to pluck buttons of Chris’s laptop and destroy the Monopoly electronic calculator and climb to the top bunk without the ladder and transform the bedroom into a ball-pit. It was a fun time, but I got tired.. and it was time for more Blackjack and steamboat teeeheeee.
I was hurt physically, I was left alone, I was caught in the rain, I had a tummy upset, I didn’t sleep for two nights, but it was all worth it because I felt love the proper way a family should have.
Oh yes, how could I forget, even the pre-CNY period was awesome, the days of shopping with Dengyin and Dinnie and my mom were very fulfilling, despite the shocking $86 billfor all my alteration. The last minute shopping with Chris was highly entertaining and satisfying for both of us, because finally I can see my sweetheart in better clothes and he was overflowing with joy from his ‘haul’ in 2hours.

Saturday, January 14, 2012 - [what a day.]
Today my father raged at me for going out late almost every night, claiming that he had been monitoring my activities. He said he regretted taking custody of me and would have lived happily with just my brother. He also said he refuses to give me allowance when I go overseas and I have to work for myself. He accused me of demanding ransom of 60k a year for education. He actually said he didn't raise me to be a prostitute.
My only rebuttal that rendered him speechless: When you die and meet god, you can ask him personally if I've really done anything wrong or sinful.
Today I spent the day with my mom, cute mom, but naggy mom, as usual, but she's usually entertaining when she's not preaching about buddhism or bitching about dad. Today we went on a pretty long quest to look for a nice bag, and found.. zilch. Bought other stuff though like sleepwear and tees for bro [:
Today I entered the 'holy' Abercrombie and Fitch store at Knightsbridge, like wow, the whole place is so dark and full of mirrors and spotlights, it's really bad because I seriously keep looking at the floor in case I trip or walk in a wall somewhere. I nearly knocked over a stand (you know the metal stand that keeps people in queue with a strap thing) 'cause it was all black -.- There are plants in that shop, strangely positioned infront of shelves, which are already so dimly lit it's hard to look at the apparel. And there's the overwhelming cologne in all three levels and loud booming music which is awful because I lost my mom and I couldnt yell to her because .. there's so many people, it's dark, it's noisy, there's plants and mirrors and .. sighs.. I don't know what they're trying to do there.
The only upside, in my opinion, is the hot models, all the staff are really fit and handsome, and I got a free polaroid with the model of the day. yay. Sexy dude pulled me so close to him and put my arm around him and asked "Why're you so shy?" my lord... who wouldn't be!
Today, after a really long shopping day and mentall exhausting too, mom talks nonstop, I still had to go for my final Party&Soul Locking class. Cyphered without much thought, I'm not sure why, but I didn't feel nervous today nor did I feel nervous the previous two weeks. [: Took polaroids with my coursemates!
I came home to a very rude shock. My room has yet again been rearranged, seriously rearranged, who the hell puts books inside a clothes cupboard?! The most irritating discovery is that my dad has removed the Mahjong table.
where.the.fuck.did.you.put.it.
I swear if I don't get an answer, I'm going to start removing things from the living room and his bedroom and I won't even hide the stuff at home, I'll just bring them out and leave them at Casi and see how he begs me to return his stuff.

she laughs uncontrollably, talks very animatedly with all sorts of actions, careful she might hit you.
she'll space out suddenly
and you never gonna know what she does next,
but that's just who she is,
take it or leave it [:
The reason why this blog sounds and looks
as childish as it is, is purely to preserve
the memories I had as a kid, and compare my
life then and now, no matter how embarrassing
my past may be.

She's gonna be a film producer one day!
Currently in Queensland University of Technology
with a double degree in Film and Advertising.
graduated from the "nurse" school
River Valley High in 2010
had some of her worse life experiences there
but met some of the world's greatest friends too ♥
She's generally a really gooooooooooood tempered person [:
But I do warn you, she can be very unpredictable at times!
If you think you know her, think again.
The only witness and the only person who can judge her life is herself.
She likes to take pictures, if you think she has uploaded a picture of you or there's something somewhat offensive and you can't sleep knowing it's there, tell her.
You're not obligated to stay and read, if you hate it, goodbye and have a nice day.
