Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - [Clearing out the Junk.]
Take a good look at this dashing young man :D
Okay, maybe not dashing, cute maybe? whatever, he stands at 176cm and weighs probably 50kg or less.. and that's like
O
M
G
right? I know, I dislike being around him sometimes 'cause of his figure =x especially whenever he's eating.. okay anyway!
I have discovered the secret of his slimness!
Oh by the way, many many things have happened these few days, so I'll go in backward order. Which begins from this morning at 12am. I told myself not to go online because I didn't sleep the night before, so I had to catch some shut-eye.
But guess what, I couldn't sleep again, whoopee doo.
So I woke up and decided to pack my room.. I dilligently packed all the way until 4am, believe it or not!
My originally entirely empty dustbin became..
Some things were rescued from the treacherous bin and incinerator but were still thrown out, like the book belongs back on the shelf, windchimes outdoors, ppcs and cards to skinny guy's room, colouring materials, paint and stickers to my sister and some other junk gettin' out!!
Anyway, as I was saying, the secret to slimness.. are these slimming cards! Or at least I think it is, just take a look at this..
I fanned out all the cards which have the same design..
Now, the scary thing is, that's not ALL of it, there are some more secret slimming cards hidden in the skinny guy's lair, but don't think he's a good hider, the professional spy, yours truly, found them and totalled them up..
Good Lord, you won't believe me okay, each card costs $10.50, lets ignore the 7% GST rise that made it $10.70, 'cause majority were bought before that rise, like in '06 and '07.
Kay, in the pictures,
there are
156 maple cards x $10.50 = $1638
11 audition cards x $10.50 = $115.50
In his secret lair there are
56 more cards x $10.50 = $588
So altogether, spent on slimming prepaid cards, for all the mad chionging 'til lvl 15X in Maple and probably lvl 60 in Audition, not forgetting all the clothes and accessories the characters have..
Congratulations Mr.Imran Hamid, you have successfully spent a grand total of $2341.50 SGD 'til date. Keep going, I'm sure you're the Guiness Record Holder.
And whoever who says my brother isn't somewhat addicted to gaming..
there's your proof!
So folks, if you wanna lose weight, squander all your cash on these miraculous slimming cards and you'll be just like the dashing young man above ^^.
Let's rewind more, earlier yesterday, we received a call from a family friend and immediately rushed over to "Changi General Hospital" where our poor friend had been diagnosed with a stroke with his left side body completely paralyzed.
I hate hospitals, I left the ward with bro for a while and he said he went there with the ambulance before and showed me some giant fishes.
Then we sat down and talked.. ._. quite a nice sitting area (:
I do hope he'll be alright =/
His wife said he was under too much stress, 2.5mm blood clot in his right brain, eeep.
It's coincidental in a very bad way, that several other family friends are simultaneously in the hospital.. god help them..
Rewind to yesterday morning! waking up at 8am, I got ready to go out with Pamela to use up our GV free tickets ^^v. Of course bro isn't too glad I took it from him heehee xD!
Anywayzxzx, we went to j8 because, it's inbetween both our places and it had a library next door~
Our first movie was "Bolt"! It's such a cute movie *squeals* If you think about it, Bolt is somewhat like Buzz Lightyear from ToyStory hahaha. Okay, fine it was out pretty long ago but, dayuum, Bolt is just too adorable~!
Next movie was "Bedtime Stories" it's freakin' funny, it was a little strange though. The night before Pamela and I received two differing opinions
TuYan - It's so boring.
Dinie - It's nice! Damn funny.
Apparently we agree with Dinie ^^ I love the kids, their story endings are non-happy ones, which is different from all the silly fairytales we hear as kids.
The night before, the one that I couldn't sleep, I was online previously, and I received pictures from DJ Ali~
Heh, sometimes I wonder what's wrong with him, LOL. kewl dude ^^
Alrighto, on the nights that Pamela was away and my parents too were away, in KL and Malacca.. I spent my nights reading away~
Some people love to abuse books you know, like tear the pages, peel the plastic wrapping, doodle on the pages, or read while eating and dirty the pages.. etc etc.
But..
but but but!!!
This is the weirdest thing I ever seen someone do to a book .
Can he/she be any more mindless? -.- '''
Good cutting though O.Ov.
And of course I can't survive without my supply of cookies!
These cookies are serious competition for "Famous Amos". I have no idea what brand or flavour they are, but they're fantabahubalicious!
Alright, if I rewind some more.. it would be going out with Dinie and his Secondary School mates, they're an odd bunch of people but heh, good company (:
We went to West Coast Plaza, for god knows what reason, and it has all kinds of food! More food outlets than normal shops you know. But strangely, no fast food, no MacDonalds/KFC/Burger King/MOS Burger etc. hahaha check it out someday, pretty hard to locate place by the way.
Anyway we watched "Australia", a freakin' 3 hour long movie that just didn't wanna end~ X_x what you need to know about that movie is
- MagicMan
- Bloody Cheeky Bulls on Big Bloody Ship
- Drover's gone droving!
- Singing
- Somewhere Over The Rainbow
- Pearl Harbour bombing
and the most important thing,
never ask "is he/she dead" because the main characters never die ._.
My braces are metallic blue now! Lovin' them.
Toodles ya'll~!

Monday, December 29, 2008 - [Happiness.]
Happiness doesn't depend on outward conditions.
It depends on inner conditions.
It isn't what you have or who you are
or where you are
or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy.
It is what you think

Thursday, December 25, 2008 - [Christmas Time and a few days before]
Before I'm accused as a slacker, I'm here to blog again, I fear that after a year of diligent blogging, it's gonna die soon X_x
So anyway before I type about the sleepover and movie marathon~ I must say that this year's Christmas is abnormal. I mean, okay, roles have been reversed, I'm back to my jumpy self, but every one else is like down in the dumps. One look at the nicknames of people in MSN and I see things like
"I don't feel any Christmas Spirit"
"Xmas totally ruined"
"nice pressie from Santa, Sprained Ankle"
"worst christmas ever"
"merry christmas, im rotting"
"bloody xmas eve"
Okay, so you get the idea.
Oh well, I guess since I can still cheer up after receiving horrible news and a whole lot of shit from family and many many personal problems, ya'll can do it too (:
Let me get on with Pamela's stayover~
She arrived on last Friday =x, uhh yes I'm slack I admit xD so she arrived and I decided to let her rest fer awhile before our marathon hehe, so we decided to decorate my room! Although I should have done it over New Year or something haha, I've always been meaning to decorate my walls but.. too slacky hehe
A couple of days before, I had cut up many magazines and tore out all my posters from my magazines so yeah~ lotsa stuff to put up~ and after Pamela's critics on who's good looking and who's not~
Tadah~!
She insisted that these two would dominate the back of my door~
I insister that the "Princess Hours" poster be alone, 'cause it's just so nice ^^
My favourite part of my room O.Ov
The S.H.E poster is supposedly there to encourage me to dress up everytime I go out, since it's on my cupboard hahaha
The nicest wall is regretabbly at the washroom ._.
4 lovely ladies to accompany the big towering Eminem, but fear not, I'll still vent my anger screaming at you :D
Okay, our movie marathon was excellent, much more successful than last times' hehehe, we watched 8 movies!! Of course my maid was great help too, she brought us food whenever we wanted. We had chips, cookies, nuggets (like homemade MacDonalds 20 pieces), too much milo and pomegrenate juice, oh and chunks of Tobelerone too xD !
We watched almost all the genres
- Comedy
- Romance
- Action
- Cartoon
and some others I don't know how to describe like, what genre is "21" LOL.
Okay, so we were half dead from our marathon, and we had a long long sleep, and Pamela furiously throwing pillows and toys at me 'cause I insisted on sleeping more =x
So we played silly games like, Poker, Blackjack, Uno Stacko and of course.. pillow fight and soft toy battle hahaha! Seriously childish, but fun ^^~
Look how we plucked them out LOL!
Then we got bored and Pamela had the brilliant idea of making a 1000piece jigsaw puzzle, oh wow.
We took an hour to do that ._.
Then we gave up and went to do something else and then still came back to do the puzzle..
After many gruelling hours.. of sorting pieces and arranging, flipping and of course piecing together and checking the guide they provided..
we
did
it
~!
It's so much larger than the box it came in hahaha, and there a sneak peak at Pamela!
So she left at night 'cause it's Winter Solstice night and her momma demanded her back home, and my mum demanded me to go out for dinner~
So we had the Rice Balls from Mr.Bean yummy~ and dinner at "Ajisen Ramen", double yum!
The next day, guess what?
We met again! LOL!
We had arranged to go to the library first, have dinner and watch "YESman!". Pamela is so funny sometimes, we entered the library, 'cause she was whining that her bag was heavy and wanted to return her books before getting tickets. Guess what.
We went to the 3rd floor and went browsing for books and she totally forgot to empty her bag at the bookdrop on the 1st floor. Roflmao.
See how pro she is at stuffing books.
Anyway~ when we did go get the tickets, the staff had confisicated food from people. Oh gosh! We had been smuggling food for over a year already =x So we were, or at least I was a little nervous this time.
But alas, we escaped :D
YESman is a wonderful movie, say YES! to life~! Go watch it everyone, Jim Carrey never disappoints~!
Labels: merry christmas ya'll (:

Tuesday, December 23, 2008 - [Angst - We're all going to die anyway.]
I am so frustrated, so angry and so depressed, I don't even know what the hell to do with myself anymore.
I'm so freakin' fed up with my life, it's so screwed up.
Everytime I tell someone I hate my life, and they'll go something like,
"Oh, I would do anything to have your life"
Oh please, gimme a break, gimme a fucking break.
So what if my dad is somewhat better off that an average Singaporean, you think my life is a bed of roses. It's fucking complicated and you know nothing about it. I never believed in that child psychology shit, but right now I'm really beginning to wonder if child abuse really affected me that much, or did the divorce at a young age do something to me subconsciously.
Jeez, I'll accept any damn excuse for all that's happening, just like how clouds are fluffy because they're actually marshmallows.
The more irritating thing is that I can't tell my problems to anyone, like seriously, because most of the stuff is personal, like if I tell someone it'll hurt the other party, or I'll probably lose the trust in that somebody.
If I had the courage to jump down and die, then I wouldn't even be typing this right now.
I'm sick of life, sick of everything. I can't stand it anymore.
Life is such a paradox, we live for 100 years or more or less and then we die. What happens after death, it's forever, we just lay there forever. Like what the heck? Why should we live anyway, since we're gonna die anyway.
Granted life can be very fulfilling and enjoyable at times, but what the hell are we doing all this for? We study, get a job, earn money, it's all to keep ourselves alive, but eventually we die.
So many people in this world are so shallow, life revolves around money and sex for them. Jeez, I'd exchange both to die right now. So I escape this goddamn world.
Since no matter how hard I pray and wish, nothing seems to want to go my way, like what's the point of living. Just because two people who currently hate each others guts decided to get groovy in bed, here I am. Why must I pay the price for them? I'm just living because I was made.
I'm just here to make you happy, and guess what, Daddy, you aren't even happy with me, don't try to fool me with your
"you're my pride and joy" bullshit.
And Mummy, you've always like bro more and sure I'll try my damn best to get 6 A's in 2 years from now, and if I don't, you'll tell me
"It's all your father's fault. If he let me live with you, I'll make sure you study hard and get those A's"
To hell with education, I'm not a smart kid, don't you get that? I'm not a brilliant student, I can't do what you want me to do. you think I don't try? I tried so damn hard to please you, none of you are happy.
You know, what if I wanted to be Arts student? What would you do? Like a typical Singaporean, you'd just look down or people who choose Arts over Science. You don't even care what I feel, but guess what?
It doesn't matter, I'm letting you choose my life, I'm listening to you, even if you don't like my friends or my lifestyle, you keep criticizing and scorning, I don't say a word, you know why?
It's your fucking fault I exist anyway. So I'm not gonna argue with you, you made me, you can do what you want with me.
I'm seriously mad at the world, mad at everything, mad at everyone.
For your own sake, just leave me alone, until I come to my senses.
I've never been a big believer or superstition, hell, ever since I broke that damn mirror, bad luck has indeed come my way. Even if it's psychology shit working on me, it sure is driving me crazy, and like any crazy person would say,
No, I will not see a damned psychiatrist.

Sunday, December 21, 2008 - [Bra Codes]
Saturday, December 20, 2008 - [46 Things to do in Singapore.]
1. Switching channels on your cable t.v. every 10 seconds.
2. Checking your emails every half an hour.
3. Checking the fridge every hour, although you know there is nothing new in there.
4. Staring blankly at the ceiling and hoping to see a lizard to catch his meal.
5. Asking your spouse what's for dinner at noon.
6. Convincing your spouse to watch the same movie again.
7. Walking round your own house like a property agent.
8. Planning to clear up the storeroom or making plans for your spouse to clean up the storeroom.
9. Looking at your mobile phone and wondering why nobody is sending you messages. Then you try to convince yourself the network is faulty.
10. Complaining and whining how boring weekends can be.
Pathetic ...
Things to do in Singapore idea 1 : Grab your 200 mega pixel camera and head down to Chinatown .... ok, ok, 2 million pixel is just as good. Take some pictures of the old shops and their almost 90 degrees staircases. If you like taking pictures of elderly people (you may be sick), there are many sitting around the wet market doing nothing.
[ So frustrating you know, the damn font doesn't wanna change. ] Things to do in Singapore idea 2: Go to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for mountain biking or walk around and smell the green. Bring a bottle of water and shades.
Things to do in Singapore idea 3: Take a ferry (cost only $2) to Pulau Ubin and explore the island. You can also rent a bike or worn out motorcycle. Try taking a taxi if you can find one, they can climb rough terrains better than keeps. Explore some of the Malay Kampungs and prawn farms ( or mosquito farms).
Things to do in Singapore idea 4: Visit Changi Prison. It's free entrance for both tourist and inmates.
Things to do in Singapore idea 5: Visit the Siang Lim Si temple at Toa Payoh. Watch people get blessed. For the non-believers, you can count the number of deities inside ... it should occupy you for one hour. Have a chat with the monks there, they may sell you discount tickets to heaven.
Things to do in Singapore idea 6: Go to the East Coast Park for a swim and followed by satay bee hoon at the hawker center. Barbecue by the beach or camp over, but you need to apply for a permit for the use of BBQ pit.
Things to do in Singapore idea 7: Take a train to Changi Airport. Buy two cups of coffee, find a comfortable seat in the departure hall viewing gallery, watch planes take off and ask yourself why you are not on the plane heading for a vacation.
Things to do in Singapore idea 8: Take a map and walk through MacRitchie Reservoir. Bring a bottle of water and insect repellent. A mobile phone will be handy in case you are lost and you need the army to look for you.
Things to do in Singapore idea 9: Go to Sim Lim Square and check out the latest laptops and hardware. Shop around for a rough estimate first and make sure cameras are quoted with lens and parts and laptops are quoted with batteries.
Things to do in Singapore idea 10: Go jogging from Kallang River to Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Watch people canoe and enjoy the breeze along the way.
Things to do in Singapore idea 11: Take a train from the Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. You can go over to Malaysia and back within a day, and if you lose your passport, it's within a year.
Things to do in Singapore idea 12: Try water skiing at Punggol.
Things to do in Singapore idea 13: Make your own kite and fly them at the Marina South open field. After that, you can have a delicious steamboat dinner at the many steamboat restaurant nearby.
Things to do in Singapore idea 14: Go to the Flea Market at Sungei Road. Most people called it the Thieves Market because most of the things sold there are not bought by the merchants. They sell everything from old records to your ex-neighbour's granny size underwear.
Things to do in Singapore idea 15: Go cycling at the Sembawang Park. Quiet and nice even on the weekends. Cycle to the end of the park and you can get very near to a shipyard ... and you can see some of the huge cargo ships and lovers refueling there.
Things to do in Singapore idea 16: Bring your own pit and barbecue along the Upper Pierce Reservoir. But if you feel oily, don't jump into the reservoir, you may end up in Things to do in Singapore no. 4.
Things to do in Singapore idea 17: Visit the Tekka Market at Serangoon Road for a variety of fruits and vegetables. There is a stall selling one of the best Bryani Chicken Rice I have ever tasted.
Things to do in Singapore idea 18: Go fishing at Pasir Ris Park.
Things to do in Singapore idea 19: Visit the Kinokuniya Bookstore at Ngee Ann City. If you're dizzy after browsing the library size bookstore, sit down for a cup of tea at the cafe inside the bookstore. If you feel like a bookworm that day, then head for the Borders bookstore nearby at Wheelock Place for a second helping.
Things to do in Singapore idea 20: Visit the Sungei Buloh Nature Park. Bring binoculars and bird watch. After that, you can buy some hydroponic vegetables home at the nearby farms.
Things to do in Singapore idea 21: Walk along Changi beach at night. And if you are there till about 11pm, hang around the public carpark and see she-males in business. If you feel hungry after that, check out the stalls selling chilli crabs and BBQ sambal sting rays at the hawker center. But I don't think you should be hungry after looking at she-males.
Things to do in Singapore idea 22: Watch cute Japanese kids play softball at the Singapore Polytechnic field. The male coaches are not too bad either.
Things to do in Singapore idea 23: Watch Indians play Cricket at the Ceylon Club at Balestier Road. After that, take a walk along Balestier Road and see old shophouses build in the 1950s. Bak Kut Teh and chicken rice stalls are also quite famous along this road.
Things to do in Singapore idea 24: Go shopping at Mustafa Shopping Centre along Serangoon. They are open 24 hours. See if you can find travel suitcases for less than $20 and watches as low as $5. But check out the spice corner. Sorry, no spice girls around there, mostly mature male workers in sarongs.
Things to do in Singapore idea 25: Have a cup of coffee and ice cream at Holland Village. Lots of restaurants and pubs for a chill.
Things to do in Singapore idea 26: Visit the Botanical Gardens. Pick up some knowledge at the Evolution Garden also. Photo taking is allowed if you know how to operate the camera.
Things to do in Singapore idea 27: Walk along Geylang from Lorong 4 to Lorong 40. It's a mix of brothels and coffee shops in this area. Try and catch dirty old men in action with the Chinese ladies in the local coffee shops. Free STDs if you decide to patronize.
Things to do in Singapore idea 28: Go window shopping at Orchard Road. From Gucci to Giordano. The Louis Vuitton store in Takashimaya (Ngee Ann City) has a security guard. You can take photos with him, he is just as bored. But he doesn't wear a hat like those in Buckingham.
Things to do in Singapore idea 29: Take a cable car ride from Harbourfront to Sentosa. Nights are good for a fantastic view of the city lights.
Things to do in Singapore idea 30: Drive up to Mount Faber or walk. Drop by Alkaff Mansion for a piece of Singapore history. The mansion is now a restaurant.
Things to do in Singapore idea 31: Drop by Raffles Hotel, Singapore oldest hotel.
Things to do in Singapore idea 32: Bring your kids back to your primary (junior) School and show them where you sat.
Things to do in Singapore idea 33: Bring your girlfriend or wife to your secondary (high) school and show her where you made out with your first girlfriend.
Things to do in Singapore idea 34: Walk along Boat Quay. Imagine how the migrants make a living along the river 100 years ago. Then visit the Chinese Heritage Centre at Chinatown to see the actual living quarters of a migrant.
Things to do in Singapore idea 35: Visit the zoo
Things to do in Singapore idea 36: Visit the night safari if you cannot get enough of idea 35.
Things to do in Singapore idea 37: Drive pass Choa Chua Kang Cemetry and head down to the Sarimbun Scout Camp. Try and find the Sarimbun Battle Site for a piece of Japanese War time history.
Things to do in Singapore idea 38: Visit the Yellow House a.k.a The Sultan's Place. It's the old Istana where Sultan Hussein lived. Sultan Hussein negotiated the Treaty with Stamford Raffles in 1824.
Things to do in Singapore idea 39: Walk along Leng Kee Road and visit car showrooms. You can test drive a Mercedes or Lexus if they are not too busy. But crash one and you will be busy for a long long time.
Things to do in Singapore idea 40: Look for new apartment launches. You can pick up some new deco ideas and some inspiration to work harder.
Things to do in Singapore idea 41: Bring a picnic basket and sit with the foreign workers along the Serangoon Road open fields. Offer to take some pictures for them and help them send some home. After that you can skip Idea no. 5.
Things to do in Singapore idea 42: Bring a tent and camp near the East Coast Sailing Club. Watch the surfers at sunset.
Things to do in Singapore bonus idea: Bring a stool and watch free Ge Tai (concert) during the Seventh Month Ghost Festival. You can go hopping from one Ge Tai to another ... as many as 6 per night! Drooling is allowed when watching the scantily dressed singers(female)
Things to do in Singapore bonus idea: Walk around the Bukit Ho Swee housing estate for nation building nostalgia. A huge fire wiped out the whole estate in 1961. It took the Housing Development Board just nine months to rebuild 12000 units.
Things to do in Singapore bonus idea: Watch horse racing at the Singapore Turf Club. Entrance fees is $5. But don't worry, you will have a few hours of free lessons on Hokkien vulgar language and swear phrases at the stand.
Things to do in Singapore bonus idea: Watch the sunset at the Kent Ridge Hill.
